Artist Statement
My work strives to intersect with the line of universal truth connecting us
to all things. As I develop as an artist, these themes and concepts grow and
overlap; ideas such as: birth and death, life and love, man vs. nature, and man
vs. man. Even though I do spend much time pondering these thoughts, painting
although "work," is an escape, a meditation, an excercise in instinct, a place
where I can be free and honest.
